Call for Papers – Volume 1, Issue 2

The Law Jurist Legal Journal (LJLJ) is now accepting submissions for Volume 1, Issue 2. We invite original, unpublished manuscripts that explore the intersection of law with contemporary societal issues, emphasizing a socio-legal approach and interdisciplinary perspectives.

Categories of Submissions

  • Long Articles: 3,500–8,000 words

  • Essays/Short Articles: 1,200–3,500 words

  • Case Notes and Legislative Comments: 1,200–3,500 words

  • Book Reviews: 1,200–3,500 words

Word counts exclude footnotes.

Submission Guidelines

  • Format: MS Word/OpenOffice Word (*.doc or *.docx)

  • Abstract: Up to 350 words/ 5 keywords 

  • Language: English

  • Co-authorship: Allowed up to three authors

  • Font: Times New Roman; 12 pt for main text, 10 pt for footnotes

  • Spacing: 1.5-line spacing for main text; single-line spacing for footnotes

  • Citation Style: OSCOLA (4th edition) or Harvard Bluebook (20th edition)

  • Originality: Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere

  • Plagiarism: Tolerance up to 10%

  • Submission Deadline: 30th July, 2025

  • Notification of Acceptance: Within 14 working days of submission
