The Law Jurist Legal Journal (LJLJ) is a quarterly, online, and open-access journal dedicated to promoting multidisciplinary research in law and its interplay with other disciplines. Emphasizing a socio-legal approach, LJLJ welcomes submissions that explore the intersection of law with contemporary societal issues, fostering a holistic understanding of legal studies.
Categories of Submissions:
- Long Articles: 3,500-8,000 words
- Essays/Short Articles: 1,200-3,500 words
- Case Notes and Legislative Comments: 1,200-3,500 words
- Book Reviews: 1,200-3,500 words
Note: Substantive footnoting is allowed, and the word limits are exclusive of footnotes.
General Guidelines:
- Submissions must be emailed to ljljeditor@gmail.com.
- Submissions should focus on topics within law and its related disciplines, especially emphasizing the socio-legal approach and the interdisciplinary nature of legal studies.
- An abstract (no more than 350 words) must be submitted along with the manuscript.
- All submissions must be in English.
- Co-authorship is permitted for up to three authors.
- The main text should be in Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5-line spacing. Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, font size 10, with single-line spacing.
- Submissions must follow either the OSCOLA (4th edition) citation style or the Harvard Bluebook (20th edition) citation style.
- All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other journal or forum.
- Submissions should be sent in MS Word/OpenOffice Word format (*.doc or *.docx).
Who Can Submit: LJLJ invites original manuscripts from academicians, research scholars, lawyers, and law students.

- All submissions must include a declaration of originality and must not have been published or be under consideration elsewhere.
- A plagiarism tolerance of up to 10% is allowed. The editors reserve the right to edit or reject any submission found to be offensive, defamatory, unethical, or suggestive of racism, sexual or religious discrimination, illegal activities, or terrorism.
- The Editorial Board may take up to 14 working days to provide a preliminary review.
