The Law Jurist Legal Journal (LJLJ)<\/strong> is a quarterly<\/strong>, online<\/strong>, and open-access<\/strong> journal dedicated to promoting multidisciplinary research<\/strong> in law and its interplay with other disciplines. Emphasizing a socio-legal approach<\/strong>, LJLJ welcomes submissions that explore the intersection of law with contemporary societal issues, fostering a holistic understanding of legal studies.<\/p>

Categories of Submissions:<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>
  1. Long Articles:<\/strong> 3,500-8,000 words\u00a0<\/li>
  2. Essays\/Short Articles:<\/strong> 1,200-3,500 words\u00a0<\/li>
  3. Case Notes and Legislative Comments:<\/strong> 1,200-3,500 words\u00a0<\/li>
  4. Book Reviews:<\/strong> 1,200-3,500 words\u00a0<\/li><\/ol>

    Note: Substantive footnoting is allowed, and the word limits are exclusive of footnotes.<\/em><\/p>

    General Guidelines:<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>
    1. Submissions must be\u00a0emailed to ljljeditor@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>
    2. Submissions should focus on topics within law<\/strong> and its related disciplines<\/strong>, especially emphasizing the socio-legal approach<\/strong> and the interdisciplinary<\/strong> nature of legal studies.<\/li>
    3. An abstract (no more than 350 words<\/strong>) must be submitted along with the manuscript.<\/li>
    4. All submissions must be in English<\/strong>.<\/li>
    5. Co-authorship is permitted for up to three authors<\/strong>.<\/li>
    6. The main text should be in Times New Roman<\/strong>, font size 12<\/strong>, with 1.5-line spacing<\/strong>. Footnotes should be in Times New Roman<\/strong>, font size 10<\/strong>, with single-line spacing<\/strong>.<\/li>
    7. Submissions must follow either the OSCOLA (4th edition)<\/strong> citation style or the Harvard Bluebook (20th edition)<\/strong> citation style.<\/li>
    8. All submissions must be original<\/strong>, unpublished<\/strong>, and not under consideration by any other journal or forum.<\/li>
    9. Submissions should be sent in MS Word\/OpenOffice Word format<\/strong> (*.doc or *.docx).<\/li><\/ol>

      Who Can Submit<\/strong><\/span>:<\/strong> LJLJ invites original manuscripts from academicians, research scholars,Advocates, Judicial Officers,\u00a0 lawyers, and law students.<\/p>

      Submission Deadlines<\/span>:<\/strong> As a quarterly journal<\/strong>, LJLJ has fixed submission cycles<\/strong> for each issue. Please refer to our website or contact ljljeditor@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a> for the latest submission deadlines corresponding to upcoming issues.<\/p>

      Important Notes:<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>
      • The journal aims to publish novel and analytical<\/strong> scholarship contributing to the global literature on law and its interaction with other disciplines. Descriptive or non-original submissions are discouraged.<\/li>
      • All submissions must include a declaration of originality<\/strong> and must not have been published or be under consideration elsewhere.<\/li>
      • A plagiarism tolerance<\/strong> of up to 15%<\/strong> is allowed. The editors reserve the right to edit or reject any submission found to be offensive, defamatory, unethical, or suggestive of racism, sexual or religious discrimination, illegal activities, or terrorism.<\/li>
      • If\u00a0manuscript is selected the author(s) is\/are notified through a confirmation mail regarding the selection of their manuscript witin 14 working days.<\/b><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>
